Why Chinese Mothers Are Superior

by Amy Chua in The Wall Street Journal

Maja pointed me to this one, and it's a doozy.

  2. Not sure what kind of mother Ms. Chua is. I do know that she is one crafty, well-versed, and soon-to-be very rich author as she's zoomed in on that most gullible of book-buyers in America. The guilty parent.

Hope she's giving a cut to her daughters...say to buy one of those new-fangled devices. I believe they're called TeleVisions.

  3. Jeezz! Hasn't Ms. Chua's 15 minutes of Warhol fame expired yet? Per the New Yorker (seemingly late to the pile-on about her book) today,it seems Ms. Chua is Jack Nicholson's character in A Few Good Men. Perhaps, we really can't take the truth....

I know Ms. Chua's a law prof @ Yale; perhaps she should consider also teaching @ their Biz School? She's got a pretty good handle on how to sell her slant on things and make quite a pretty buck.
